What you need

  • A PDF under 5 MiB (25 MiB on Pro), up to 100 pages
  • A desktop browser (upload and download only on a phone)
  • Text you can select — not a scan
  • A free account, with a confirmed email, to download

Steps

  1. Open the PDF by uploading it above.
  2. Choose Sign in the tool rail, or press S.
  3. Draw your signature with mouse or trackpad; Clear to redo.
  4. Use signature, then drag it onto the line and resize by a corner.
  5. Add the date with the Text tool (T) if asked.
  6. Export PDF and download the signed copy.

Good to know

  • Several places: a drawn signature is offered again each time in the same document, for initials on every page or a second line.
  • Next time: signed in, tick Save this signature to my account for next time (up to 5; unticked by default). How they are stored.
  • A drawn signature is a picture of your handwriting, not a certificate-based digital signature. Whether it is accepted is up to whoever asked.
  • Already digitally signed? Editing, signing included, invalidates that signature; the editor asks first and your original stays downloadable.
